WELCOME

Grant Township was incorporated in 1868 when the original Mahoning Township was subdivided.  The township was then named after Ulyssess S. Grant.  Since 1868, Grant Township has adapted to meet the ever changing requirements of government and industry.  One thing that hasn’t changed in Grant Township is the ability to look any direction and be able to see a vast, beautiful, pristine piece of nature. Whether it be rolling hillsides dotted with grazing cattle, forests filled with Pennsylvania wildlife or streams brimming with native trout, Grant Township has something to offer to everyone.
